MSC Sinfonia

Sinfonia was great. She is very well maintained for her age. Yes I can see that sailing in the Med would be a different experience as the clientele in Africa is somewhat different! Spa area was fantastic and great value. Beverage prices were fantastic as well.

MSC Splendida Yacht Club - January 2013

This was our third cruise with MSC Cruises, and again it was a wonderful experience. We chose a cruise itinerary in the European winter (January) and sailed on MSC Splendida from Barcelona to ports in Tunisia, Sicily, Italy and France, but the cold weather did not stop us from enjoying all the shore excursions as well as the on-board entertainment.

This was also our first time travelling on MSC Yacht Club Class, amd we were treated like royalty from embarkation to disembarkation. The facilities for MSC Yacht Club Class guests are superb, and couple this with the butler and concierge service we were made to feel very special from the moment we exited the taxi for embarkation until we were escorted back to a taxi when we disembarked. MSC Splendida is magic in every way and as usual, MSC Cruises never fail to deliver on quality and service. We will be back for another MSC Yacht Club Class experience.

MSC Yacht Club - January 2013

This is a warning for you to not recommend MSC Yacht Club Class to any of your customers, there are two main reasons for this:

1) We want to keep this for ourselves, and not have it crowded with people.
2) It has ruined us for the future, as we will never want to travel any other way!

Ok, now for the real information part.

We were met at the bagage carousel by the courier, who took us from terminal 1 to terminal 3, where she left us on out own for 1 1/4 hrs before coming back with other people for the bus to the ships. To be fair, she had already lost two people and there where many delayed flights with some being cancelled, so not the easiest day for her.

After the 1hr drive to the port we were directed to the check-in desk, but as soon as they saw our ticket, there was a hurried phone call and an MSC man came and told us we were in the wrong place, he took our cases and then escorted us through to another part of the terminal where a butler had just arrived to look after us. After check-in he took us up to the MSD Yacht Club Class deck and concierge for the final formalities (pay a deposit, etc.) and then our butler showed us to our cabin.

Be warned, the MSC Yacht Club Class is not first class, it is 'Decadence Class', in the restaurant we often have 3 waiters at out our table at the same time, today at lunch time, we were the only couple in the restaurant until 5 minuites before we left when two other couples entered, there were 8 waiting staff in the restaurant at the time, so you can imagine the service.

When going ashore for an excursion, we usually have two butlers to escort at most 3 couples off the ship and to the bus, this is of course 5-10 mins before the rest of the ship are allowed ashore, so we get the pick of the bus seats.

If we are spotted going anywhere outside our cabin by any butler, we are escorted, doors are opened for us and lifts are called. (We were only escorted to dinner on the first night thank goodness).

The food in the restaurant is of a very high standard, Karen rates the food 9.6 out of 10 and the service 10 out of 10 (she would give it a higher mark if possible).

Of the excursions, we thought the guide in Casablanca was excellent, but we were not that taken with Casablanca itself, we loved Tenerife but the guide was very ordinary. Funchal we loved, it is such a beautiful place, our guide was excellent and the staff from our restaurant recommended a fish restaurant for lunch, which is some of the best fish we have eaten ever!

So, all in all we are having a great time, but do not want to share this with others! So please do not tell anyone.

Best Regards,

Chris and Karen/Auckland

MSC Divina and MSC Splendida - July 2012

My girlfriend and myself enjoyed the experience immensely. The opulence of Divina was amazing and no less Splendida. Superb food and friendly service. Great entertainment and a diverse mix of people from all corners of the world. A quick glimpse of exciting ports. So easy and comfortable to travel this way. The drink package was excellent value. The gym was fantastic - my workouts there enabled me to eat to my heart's content.

My only complaint was I wish I didn't have to sleep so I could do everything.

I will recommend an MSC cruise experience to all.

Warmest regards,

Debra-lee Poulimas

MSC Musica - June 2012

Hi there, Just a short note to say a special thanks with regard to our stay on MSC Musica the beginning of June this year (3-9 June 2012). You made our stay on Musica a pleasurable and memorable one.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and found MSC Musica very comfortable, relaxing and accommodating. We were particularly impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of all your staff. You exceeded all our expectations not only with your the high level of hospitality, kindness and first class service exhibited by you and your staff but also the willingness to go out of your way to make us comfortable.

The food and company were both excellent. The entertainment team was absolutely amazing and very skilled. We would not hesitate to recommend your cruises to our friends and family and we hope we have the opportunity to enjoy your hospitality in the future.

Wishing you all the best for the future. Thank you once again.

Warmest regards

MSC Poesia - October 2011

My wife and myself recently cruised on MSC Poesia from New York  to Quebec, a 10 day cruise.

We desire to express our sincere gratitude to the Company, staff , and indeed fellow passengers for the BEST cruise of our travels.

The ship was immaculate, the food, divine and the staff could not do enough for ourselves.

MSC Lirica - July 2011

Hello we completed a 7 night cruise on MSC Lirica in Genoa on 29/7/2011 and couldnt find any feedback forms but wanted to say how brilliant one particular staff member was.

His name was Tyrone and he ran the English speaking tours. We were on board with our teenage daughter and found him to be really in touch with tour locations, generous with his information and generally fantastic. He made us feel safe by attending many of the tours alongside the guide and we just wanted to compliment him on his professional and welcoming attitude. Much appreciated.

Our room steward Ignacio  and waiter Dimas also went above and beyond to make our stay a good one.

Many thanks

MSC Splendida - May 2011

A very big thank you for upgrading our cabin on the Splendida to a Yacht Club cabin. We have returned from our big Europe trip and thoroughly enjoyed both MSC Cruises and service. The wonderful memories will remain forever in our minds.

MSC Fantasia - January 2011

I have just had an eleven night cruise on MSC Fantasia. The cruise was absolutely fantastic as a friend and I were upgraded to the MSC Yacht Club. I am hoping that I will be able to have a cruise from the UK while I am over there, there were quite alot of English people on this last cruise so I would love to have one of your cruises from there. Once again, I had a fantastic cruise - the MSC Fantasia was lovely.

MSC Magnifica - January 2011

Myself, husband and our 7 year old recently  (27 December 2010- 4 January 2011) experienced MAGNIFICA - Venice, Bari, Rhodes, Alexandria, Katakolon, Dubrovnik, Venice.

It was our first cruise, we wanted to see if we took to cruise life. And we all did.  Our daughter loved the kids club, the luxury, the kids 'credit card', the food and freedom. We all experienced the delight of sophisticated entertainment - nothing like wandering and seeing a tenor and soprano singing their hearts out.  The evening shows were a marvel, the entire ship a luxurious treat, service was outstanding. The food was delicious (we had read earlier reviews of food issues) but our entire experience was stunning food - we had to diet as soon as we got home cannot live on 5 course lunches and  7 course dinners everyday!!!!  We experienced many gourmet delights (eg lobster, marlin, variety of fish, food specialities from many Italian regions etc.).

All ports were interesting culturally and historically. Dubrovnik was the major surprise - we walked the entire city wall to magnificent views.  The Sphinx and Pyramids are a must but Egypt  itself is another story.  The ship tour at Katakolon/Olympia with vineyard/farm luncheon visit was so much fun.

WE LOVED IT - and have come home with hundreds of photos and delightful memories - thankyou - and we WILL be back.....

regards, Sonja

MSC Poesia - September 2010

On a different note we have cruised with a few different lines and have to say that the Poesia is the cleanest and nicest ship we have cruised on. The bathrooms were actually a decent size! There are always comparisons... but I feel that we certainly got value for money. The Balinese staff were fantastic and we really enjoyed it (My husband didn't want to get off!). Looking forward to MSC coming "down under" and hope that we can perhaps do a cruise to the Pacific islands.

MSC Poesia - September 2010

We went on the recent trip from Kiel to New York on the MSC Poesia and just wanted to contact you with regard to our trip. Just before we left I was diagnosed as a coeliac - I just wanted to let you know that from the minute I stepped foot on board I was catered for magnificently. The ship and my wait staff in particular went over and above what they needed to do to make me feel special and not left out in any way. I have not one negative word to say. Also looking at the "normal" menu, I don't know how anyone could have any negative comments about anything. We had a wonderful trip, on a magnificent ship. ...a fantastic holiday on a beautiful clean and impressive ship, with wonderful food, lovely lounge areas, glorious outdoor areas, fantastic staff, good theatre acts, wonderful size cabin and bathroom etc etc.

MSC Fantasia - May 2010

Hello Ladies, just a short note to let you know how much we enjoyed our cruise on MSC Fantasia in May this year.

The MSC Yacht Club exceeded our expectations from the moment we were "fast tracked" onboard! Our suite was beautiful, and our butler, San, could not have been more attentive to our needs!

We spent some time the The Topsail Lounge, both for breakfast and drinks in the afternoon and evening and the staff were wonderful, very friendly and great service. We like that they were not at all patronising and seemed to genuinely enjoy their work, which all contributed to making our cruise a memorable experience.

The French Restaurant (our preferred Dinner Venue) was great and once again the waiters were wonderful and friendly (and funny!) always made us feel welcome.

We look forward to our next cruise, perhaps on MSC Splendida with a little longer duration and some different ports to explore. We are grateful to MSC for helping us to make up our mind on this cruise when there are so many options out there!

Thanks again,
Kind Regards
Jan and Rob

MSC Splendida - November 2009

Four of us recently spent 11 days aboard the Splendida in the Mediterranean in November 2009. On behalf of all 4 of us, I would like to say a huge thank you to the company and the crew on board for providing us with a magical cruise through the Greek islands, Italy, Barcelona and Egypt on such an amazing, beautiful ship. Two of us have cruised before, including the Med, but this ship is truly in a class of her own, both in size and quality. Everything was brilliant, from the cabin to the food and the fabulous shows. We loved the evening pizzeria, the late night snacks in the sports bar and  the authentic Italian coffee & gelato. I could on and on, did I mention the sparkling stairs!

Anyway, I hope that MSC continues to grow as a company here in Australia and that more aussies can get over to Europe and experience your ships like the Splendida.

Thanks again,

Joe

MSC Opera - October 2009

This letter is to let you know that my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this cruise. Because it was our first cruise we were a bit apprehensive about it but it proved to be all we had hoped for and more.

We were very impressed with the quality of the ship (every aspect of it, from the decor to the high level of cleanliness) and with the excellent standard of service provided by the crew.

Thank you to your staff for organising our participation in this cruise.

MSC Musica - Oct 2009

Just trying to settle back in after 3 amazing weeks away and it's not easy. Had a wonderful 7 nights on the MSC Musica, cabin fabulous, service incredible, food to die for. Met some great people, made awesome friends which I know I will keep in touch with. Some were just so crazy I felt right at home. So thank you and MSC for the experience.
